Ice Production

We now have three Ice Makers:  A Morris F118, a Vogt P218, and our newest edition as of Christmas 05', a Vogt P24 that now has our production around 106,000 lbs. a day.  With the expansion of our new ice machine, we installed a 45,000 lb. capacity Keith Walking Floor bin (The first one in Northeast Florida) with brand new stainless steel 10" augers that are fully automated along with the ice machine; in other words, when everything fills up, instead of spilling on the floor, it just cuts off...which is NICE.  We also updated our bagging machines along with the upgrade so now we can run ice more efficiently with less down time.  The new bagger is a one-man operation instead of two and makes the process a lot more efficient.   Along with the upgrades at the plant, we've also updated the ice delivery truck with a brand new 2007 International that now holds 10 pallets of ice.  Our old truck only held 8 so we've also cut back on down time coming back for more ice which makes the process of delivering go a lot smoother to better serve you.
